Wanted to share this video I filmed with my dad on an amazing vegan Persian recipe. Being Persian, I’m passionate about this topic. I love Persian food so much, and the truth is a huge bulk of it is filled with so many fresh ingredients, but then there’s the added meat, eggs and dairy…

Throughout my years of eating a vegan diet, I’ve found MANY workarounds to still eating Persian food! I’m so excited to be sharing more of them with you guys. Even if you’re not Persian, I know you’ll love these recipes so definitely give them a try. They’re PACKED with nutrients and so much flavor. Enjoy! :)

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mushroom

  • Potatoes

  • 1 cup ground almonds

  • 1 cup ground walnuts

  • 1/2 cup of parsley

  • 1/4 cup zucchini

  • Garbanzo beans

  • Bread crumbs

  • black pepper

  • garlic

  • onions

  • salt

  • turmeric

  • Almond milk

  • Almond oil

Peel the steamed potato, then blend everything else. Make sure it all sticks together. Form them the way you want. Heat a pan with almond oil and put them on the skillet until they’re golden brown. Let cool then enjoy!
