Hope you had a great holiday break and a happy New Year! If you follow me, you know I’ve been non-stop traveling since the holidays: first Canada, then Miami, then New York, and now Vegas so I’ve been really focused on staying healthy and keeping my immune system strong. I wanted to share a couple of the superfoods that I’ve been using (either in my smoothie or in my tea) that have really helped me maintain my health all throughout my travels. Plus, I know it’s cold & flu season so hopefully these can help you, too :)

1: Moringa Powder: If you don’t know what moringa powder is you’re definitely not alone! I just recently started getting into morgina powder because more and more research has come out and said that it could be even more anti-inflammatory than turmeric. Moringa starts off as a leaf and is usually ground up into a powder form. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of it around (in smoothies, lattes, etc) but if you want to get ahead of the trend, you can get moringa powder from here. I like getting mine from Thrive Market because it’s the same quality as other brands, just more affordable!

2: Mini Boost Trio: If I know I’m going to be traveling I usually like to prepare by bringing a bunch of my health and wellness staples with me in my carry on bag (I did a whole Youtube video of what I take with me in my carry-on!). That’s why I like this trio pack from The Beauty Chef– I don’t use the collagen one but I really like having the antioxidant and hydration inner beauty boost with me. The Antioxidant Inner Beauty Boost is an organic, bio-fermented, probiotic that you take a shot of to give your immune system strength and to protect your skin and body from free-radical damage and aging. The Hydration Boost Blend is similar but it’s coconut-infused and is meant to support gut-health and enhance skin radiance. You could really use either of these on a daily basis but giving yourself a little boost of immunity while your traveling or during flu season definitely doesn’t hurt :)

3: Beauty + Detox Water: If you’ve been following me, you know I love things that enhance your health in a really simple and easy way, which is why I love using the Sakara Life Beauty + Detox Water. It’s one of the easiest things you can do to help your skin and body out. The drops are infused with anti-inflammatory rose, which soothes the nervous system and silica to plump up your skin- just put about 2-5 drops in your water, tea, or green smoothie and that’s it!
